BEFORE SELECTING ANY OF THESE PRINTS FOR VIEWING, PLEASE KEEP THE FOLLOWING POINTS IN MIND:
1 - These scans, by definition, are only approximations of the original prints. They have been adjusted in contrast, brightness and color balance to provide the best possible interpretation on a CRT. Keep in mind that in most cases part of the beauty in these images is in the quality of the printing which is something that cannot, as yet, be translated electronically. Many of these images use enhancement of the grain in the film as part of the composition. This grain can be difficult to reproduce on a video display. Every effort has been made to render them as carefully as possible given the many limitations of the scan/video translation process. However, they can only be truly appreciated by viewing the original prints in a gallery setting.
2 - These images were conceived, executed and are presented as works of fine art. They have never been nor are they now being offered as commercial products. All purchases and presentations of these works are under the conditions that they be maintained as fine art in original condition with ownership of the images and copyrights thereof belonging exclusively to the artist as set forth by Congress in the legislation referred to as the "Artists Bill of Rights".
3 - None of the images here may be downloaded for purposes other than viewing by the person who has logged on to this site. They are not to be re-distributed except with the artists permission and only for presentation as fine art. They must always be accompanied by the complete title, date and artists name, whether presented electronically or as hard copy.
Some of the titles included on this page may be viewed and purchased at the CMR Gallery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
These images were all scanned in 24 bit "True Color", even the black and white photos. Ideally, the images should be viewed in True Color at a resolution of 1024 X 768 or higher. If your video system is set for a color range that is restricted in its pallet, such as 256 color, or if you are restricted to a screen size under 800 X 600, then the images will not render very well. If this is the case, you may want to consider bypassing this page altogether in favor of viewing the other areas of this site.
